they are in little mini quotes because honestly, they are more cake-like than cookie-like! BUT SO GOOD I PROMISE YOU!Tonight I just wanted a yummy cookie and didn’t want to eat 300 cals like an average cookie is. So although it’s better than a regular cookie you would get a bakery…it’s still a cookie. BUT A REALLY TASTY, LESS FATTENING COOKIE! you could probably even omit the butter, but I liked it with it.Take out the butter and chocolate and I could totally see this being a breakfast on the go!
Ingredients: 3 packets of safeway’s apple’s & cinnamon oatmeal3/4 cup unsweetened (all natural) applesauce1/4 cup almond milk1 tablespoon cinnamon1 tablespoon butter3 tablespoons dark chocolate baking chips1-2 teaspoons baking sodaDirections:Mix’em all together, put them on a pan and BAKE! they are done when they are a beautiful brown and aren’t runny anymore (but they will be spongy).
