Dinner!
Homemade & clean “rice-a-roni” with an egg over easy on topĀ
SOOOO good, and much better for you than regular rice-a-roni!
Ingredients:
brown rice
whole wheat pasta, broken up into pieces
vegetable broth & water
basil, sage, oregano, garlic powder, sea salt, black pepper
minced garlic
minced onions
Directions:
1. Sautee rice/pasta in a little bit of butter until pasta turns brown.
2. pour in vegetable broth and seasonings and mix well; bring to a boil and then simmer.
3. continually add water as needed until rice is soft.
ta da! Rice-A-Roni! clean style! Top with an over easy egg or add your favorite meat.

the most amazing salad. drove all the way to Arcata (from Fortuna) to have it.
this, my friends, is a salad from Wildberries salad bar. let me break it down for you
fresh, organic leaf mix
shredded carrots
edamame
sunflower seeds
green onions
a tiny bit of cheese
(grilled?) tofu
sprouts (large ones! i wish i knew what kind!)
shitaki mushroom sesame seed vinaigrette
it was amazing. and makes me miss living in arcata. i wish they had a Wildberries in Redding!
